To be eligible for consideration, a student must:

• be a resident of one of the following zip codes:
  
  • 98104, 98108, 98118, 98122, 98134, 98144
• be a member of a racial or ethnic group that is underrepresented in higher education,
• be a senior in good standing in high school,
• complete the attached Application Form and return it along with the required attachments. It should be postmarked or delivered no later than December 4, 2008,
• All applications are reviewed by the selection committee only and are confidential. We select candidates on the basis of evidence of overcoming adversity, financial need, academic progress, community service and desire to continue their education. The more we know about the candidate, the better their chance of being selected. The recipients selected will be notified in January 2008.
