The SilverSneakers FLEX program brings fitness, fun and friends right to your neighborhood! And, it’s FREE for SilverSneakers members. STRENGTH & BALANCE a low-impact class to help improve flexibility and balance while increasing muscular endurance. Strength exercises include using your own body’s resistance while also using your core muscles to improve balance and stability. The SilverSneakers FLEX program is tailored specifically to the Medicare- eligible population. Seniors 65+ on Medicare may qualify for FREE membership. T'ai Chi
Monday • 6:45pm -8:00pm with Connie Coffman
T'ai Chi Chuan is an internal style martial art which is taught primarily today for its health benefits. T'ai Chi class includes meditation, reading Chinese philosophy that relates to T'ai Chi and practicing the Yang form as taught by TY Pang.
The class is taught by Connie Coffman, a student of TY Pang's who has practiced T'ai Chi for over 50 years and taught it for 39 years. The class is held Monday evenings from 6:45pm - 8pm at the Mt. Baker Community Clubhouse. Beginners to advanced students are welcome.

SongBird Music Together
Tuesdays • 10am -10:45am, 11am - 11:45am with Connie Coffman
Wednesdays • 10am -10:45am & 5:30pm - 6:15pm with Connie Coffman
Music Together, an International Early Childhood Education program, believes all children are musical and their parent/guardian is their primary teacher. Each 45 minute weekly Songbird Music Together class includes singing, movement, rhyming, playing rhythm instruments and fun in a non-performance environment. Families receive a songbook with a code to download the music to use at home. In order to keep everyone as healthy as possible while we make music together indoors, all adults wear high quality masks and everyone 6 months and older has been vaccinated for covid. A Pay What You Can option is available to everyone needing it.

5Rhythms Movement - Fall session starts September 14th.

You are invited to drop in for this spiral dance ~ exactly as you are ~ in this moment. Developed by Gabrielle Roth and practiced around the world, the 5Rhythms® is a dynamic and catalytic movement method, which moves and transforms that which ails you and opens the possibility for new and imaginative ways of being.
It is conscious dance, free form within a loosely held structure. No steps to learn, just a willingness to move and be moved. Set to music from all around the world, encompassing all genres and eras. It is fun, adventurous and compelling ~ a way to drop out and check in.
